Guitar Repair
Your guitar may only need a string change, or it might benefit from a complete setup. Please feel free to stop by, during our retail hours.
Our retail hours are:
Monday: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Tuesday–Friday: 2:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
We’ll be glad to take a look and let you know whether your guitar just needs a string change, requires a complete setup or may need additional repair.
Please note most repair estimates are free of charge.
Exception: If a repair estimate involves disassemble/reassemble there may be a bench fee of $35.00
SRTING CHANGE:
Standard String Change
Standard Re-String (Electric/Acoustic): $35 + cost of strings
Standard Re-String (Classical): $35 + cost of strings
Floyd Rose String Change
$55.00 plus cost of string
A re-string includes cleaning, conditioning of the fingerboard, and installation of your choice of strings. (String pricing varies depending on your selection.)
SET UP:
Basic Setup: $75 + cost of strings
A Face Arts Music setup ensures your instrument plays at its best. We adjust the action to the lowest comfortable level without fret buzz, check and adjust the truss rod, set intonation, and inspect the saddle and bridge for proper height. Minor adjustments are included as needed.
We recommend changing strings during a setup for the best results.
If your guitar requires any additional work you will contact for approval.
FAM Floyd Rose Guitar Setup
$85.00 plus cost of strings*
Our Floyd Rose Setup includes everything in the Basic Setup, plus additional attention to the Floyd Rose mechanics of your guitar.
We recommend changing strings at the time of the setup for best results.
