Students must be entering grades 8 through 12

This camps gives campers a chance to work on  their jazz improv chops and learn the roles in a small jazz ensemble.  Students will enjoy specialty classes such as combo class, jazz theory and improvisation, and a short listening class that will tie directly with what you are learning at camp. This is not a camp for absolute beginners—students must have some background in jazz and demonstrate proficiency on their instrument which will allow them to learn tunes quickly and with some independence.

Play in a rock band with your peers and experience what it’s like to prepare for a live show!

Performance Camp offers young musicians a supportive environment and expert instruction in music theory, songwriting, music marketing, and musical style. Campers will enjoy collaborating with others, refining a set of cover tunes, and writing original songs together.

The week culminates in an exciting professional stage performance where campers showcase their hard work and creativity.

Learn the art of recording and production—from capturing live musicians to shaping polished, professional mixes.

In this hands-on camp, students will explore how audio equipment and software transform raw tracks into finished recordings. Each day features guided instruction using industry-standard tools and real-world studio techniques.

The week concludes with students recording a live performance, putting their new skills into practice!
